Austin Reaves grew up in Cedar Ridge, Arkansas. There he was a star in high school, played well enough to receive a D-1 scholarship offer to Wichita State. He would then transfer to Oklahoma before declaring for the NBA draft. Sadly, Reaves would go undrafted but would later be signed to a free agent deal by the Los Angeles Lakers. Ever since then, Reaves has showed out being a key part to the lakers success averaging 19 points per game when starting and leading there team to a win in the NBA playoffs over the Memphis Grizzlies. One thing I love about this article is how they used “Him” in the title because anyone who watched the game would here Reaves yell this to the fans after hitting a clutch bucket. I also like the phrase finding a gem in the rough because 60 people were chosen over Austin Reaves and probably thirty actually play in this league and out of those thirty maybe five of them are better basketball players then Reaves.

However, he has found himself in trouble over the past couple days with allegations made against him that could severely hurt his future in the league. There has been multiple allegations that he fought and even pulled a gun on a 17 year old kid while playing pick up. In this blog they do a very nice job of jumping off what could be a sensitive subject. As the subject they discuss in this blog is very new and not a lot of concrete details have been confirmed. You never want to be held liable for something you said. They do a perfect job of telling us what we do know. I also liked how they talked about how this could severely hurt the Memphis Grizzlies as they are, as talked about in this blog, Western Conference Title contenders. If they are missing there star  Point Guard for an extended period

Living With My Best Friend

A Day In The Life Of Living With My Best Friend Our subject Cole Edwards. First we start our day in the morning with a little bed head. After a quick shower we head off to get some food before class. While Cole is in class some of the boys sneak in a quick cuddle sesh. After Cole gets back he changes into what he wants to wear to practice and gets some swings in while watching some Ex On The Beach. After practice all the guys decide to head to B-Dubs because Cole is going to try the “Blazin’ Challenge”. This is the before the challenge.  This is the during the challenge.  This is the aftermath of the challenge. For those wondering he did “win” the challenge.  Upon the return back to the dorm we play some Retro Bowl (In my hat because he loves taking my stuff).  We then go on one of our patented late night food drives to Sonic (where I received my hat back cause it didn’t match his outfit). Blog I’m critiquing:  https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2023/2/24/23613377/chris-boucher-free-throw-line-dunk-video-raptors This is interesting article concept with it being so rare. Here, they talk about how Chris Boucher may have had the longest in game dunk of all time. The dunk occurred when Boucher leaped from just inside the free throw line in a game against the New Orleans Pelicans. I like the concept of this because you have to be eagle eyed to notice little details like this. The verbs used to describe this are very beneficial as well comparing Boucher to a bird with the way he soared through the air.
